Police Have Suspect in Cumberland Mall Burglary Almost 10 Years Later
DNA evidence left at the 2005 crime scene was finally linked to a suspect in 2014.

An Atlanta man has been linked to a jewelry theft which saw $100,000 worth of jewelry stolen from Cumberland Mall in 2005, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
DNA evidence left behind at the July 29, 2005 burglary has finally been connected to Antevise Brown, who was in custody at the Fulton County jail for drug charges on Tuesday.
The GBI collected the blood sample in 2006 and linked it to a crime from Clayton County in 2003, but were not able to put a name to the samples until earlier this year, the AJC writes.

The AJC reports that Brown has been charged with felony theft by taking in the 2005 case.
