Police Release Names of Couple Killed in Cobb
A two-year-old child presumed to belong to the couple was unharmed during the shooting and is in state care.
Police in Powder Springs have released the identities of a man and a woman found shot inside a car in their jurisdiction on Thursday morning.
Anthony Joseph Costner, 24 was pronounced dead at the scene at Parks and Sharon drives at approximately 1:45 a.m., while Catherine Amanda Costner, 22 was pronounced dead later at Kennestone Hospital, the Marietta Daily Journal reports. Both hailed from Lithia Springs.
Anthony Costner suffered from several gunshot wounds, while Catherine Costner was shot at least once, police told the MDJ.

A two-year-old girl inside the car was uninjured and is now in DFCS custody. Police suspect but have not confirmed that the child is the daughter of the slain couple.
