Poor Weather Will Cancel Mable House Candy Cane Hunt, Cobb County Says
The event was scheduled for Saturday and was to include arts and crafts and a visit from St. Nick.
Cobb County officials have canceled an event at the Mable House Art Center due to the threat of inclement weather over the weekend.
The candy cane hunt, which was scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 6 has been scrubbed due to an unfavorable forecast. Apart from the candy can hunt itself, the event would have featured arts and crafts, marshmallow roasting, and a visit from Santa for children 12 and under.
It is not clear whether the event will be rescheduled.
