Popular Cobb BBQ Restaurant Burned In Fire
The fire was in the smokehouse at Heirloom Market BBQ in Vinings. They say they'll be back serving a limited menu on Wednesday.

MARIETTA, GA — A nationally acclaimed barbecue restaurant in Cobb County is pledging to reopen after a fire in the smokehouse there caused major damage. On Facebook, its owners were even able to lead with a joke.
"Goodness gracious, great balls of fire!!" Heirloom Market BBQ, which is owned by husband-and-wife team Jiyeon Lee and Cody Taylor, posted after the Friday night blaze. "VERY THANKFUL to the Cobb County Fire Department Station 19 for quickly putting out the fire before it spread to the building! Thankfully no one was hurt! We'll reopen ASAP!"
As noted in the post, the fire did not spread to the kitchen or dining room of the restaurant, at 2243 Akers Mill Rd. It happened after the restaurant had closed Friday night. Taylor told WSB-TV that the smokehouse needs to be completely repaired.
