Primrose School of Smyrna West Students Learn About Elections

At the Primrose School of Smyrna West, Election Day is our opportunity to show Preschool, Pre-K and Kindergarten students the value of democracy and citizenship while educating them on the importance of voting. Our students will get to see first-hand how voicing their opinions at the ballot box translates into real life results by choosing a presidential Primrose Friend mascot and snack for the afternoon. Students will choose between Billy the Duck and Percy the Rooster. The Kindergarten students will campaign and distribute stickers to the other constituents a week or so before the “election”. We invite all parents to join in the fun as we learn about a very important process for our country!
