Everything you need to know to recycle your Christmas tree after the holidays in Smyrna

Bring One for the Chipper”
Christmas Tree Recycling Set for January 7th, 2017
What can you do with your live Christmas tree after the holidays are over? Bring it for the Chipper! Home Depot on Cumberland Parkway and Keep Smyrna Beautiful will host the Smyrna-Vinings area site for the Christmas tree recycling event on January 7th between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Free tree seedlings and seed packets will be available while they last. Volunteers will be on hand to direct traffic and to help citizens unload their trees. Please remove all ornaments, lights and bases, and do not bring wreathes and garland (dispose of them at home). The Smyrna Recycling Center at 3475 Lake Drive accepts strings of old lights. Smyrna city residents may also put trees on the curb for pickup on Wednesdays with other yard debris.
