Smyrna-Area Motel Robbed at Gunpoint
Witnesses tell police the suspect fled the scene in what appeared to be a white passenger car with tinted windows.

Cobb County police are asking for the publicβs help to identify the man who robbed a Smyrna-area motel at gunpoint Tuesday morning.
Police say that the suspect walked into the Red Roof Inn at 2200 Corporate Plaza at 12:41 a.m. and demanded money from the clerk while brandishing a handgun. After receiving the money, the suspect fled the scene in what witnesses described as a white passenger car with tinted windows.
The suspect is described as a black male who stands 5β8β tall and is approximately 30 years old. He had short hair and was described as being medium complected with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, plaid shorts, and blue shoes. Along with wearing latex gloves, he had a black scarf over his face and was armed with a handgun.
