Smyrna-Area Restaurant Robbed at Gunpoint: Police
The suspect fled the scene on foot after getting away with the restaurant's till, police say.

Cobb County police are investigating an armed robbery at a Smyrna area restaurant which occurred early Friday morning.

Police say that a man walked into the Waffle House at 4458 Atlanta Road at 4:29 a.m. and demanded money from employees, telling them that he was armed. The suspect took the register’s cash drawer and fled the area on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a male standing 6’ tall and weighing 150-160 pounds. He was last seen wearing black pants, a grey hooded sweatshirt, black sunglasses, and a black mask covering his face. He was also wearing black latex gloves.
