Smyrna Brings New All-Inclusive Playground To Community

SMYRNA, GA — A new all-inclusive playground has opened at Windy Hill Community Center, 1885 Roswell St. in Smyrna. These kinds of playgrounds are designed to provide a safe space for children of all abilities, allowing them to play together.

All-inclusive playgrounds are developmentally appropriate for children with or without disabilities.

This playground was designed using the playground equipment supplier PlayCore's seven principles of inclusiveness to ensure children can be: fair, included, smart, independent, safe, active and comfortable.
