Smyrna Dealership Gives New Car to Lottery Winner

The middle Georgia man won the 2015 Kia Optima EX by winning a second chance promotion held by the Georgia Lottery.

A middle Georgia man has won an impressive vehicle from a second chance promotion courtesy of the Georgia Lottery. Jack Myers, 43, was selected as a winner of the Jackpot Series Second Chance Promotion, winning a brand new 2015 Kia Optima EX.

Georgia Lottery representatives presented Myers with the keys to his shiny, new red vehicle Friday at Ed Voyles Kia, 2145 South Cobb Parkway SE in Smyrna.

A rental car service agent, Myers said that the possibility of winning a new car attracted him to play the instant game.

“When I got the phone call, I was stunned,” he said. “I kept saying, ‘Thank You, Thank You’ over and over.”

The lucky lottery winner said that the sedan is his first new vehicle.

“It feels great,” Myers exclaimed.

Jackpot Series is a new family of Georgia Lottery instant games with prizes ranging from $50,000 to $3 million.

Ticket prices for the games are $1, $2, $5 and $20.

Players can enter non-winning Jackpot Series tickets online for a chance to win a 2015 Kia Optima EX.
