Smyrna Holiday Closing Dates
Community center and library closed for the final week of 2011 except for Radio Disney event on Dec. 31.
From the City of Smyrna’s website:
administrative offices will be closed from Friday, December 23 at noon through Monday, December 26 in observance of Christmas. Public Safety remains operational. Sanitation/Recycling collection will observe the holiday schedule.
The will be closed for the following additional dates: Tuesday, December 27 through January 1 (except for the Noon Year’s Eve with Radio Disney event on December 31). The will be closed from the afternoon of the 23rd through January 2nd.

Sanitation/Recycling: Christmas - Observed Monday, Dec. 26
- Monday, Dec. 26th routes picked up on Tuesday, December 27th, 2011
- Tuesday. Dec. 27th routes picked up on Tuesday, December 28th, 2011
- Thursday and Friday routes unchanged.
- yard waste collection suspended during weeks in which the holiday schedule is observed.
