Trace Davrin Works, 18, is accused of membership in the Hard Head Money Click (HHMC) gang, which was said to operate out of Campbell High School in a 2013 Marietta Daily Journal article. Works is facing 10 counts of violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act, armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, two counts of theft by receiving stolen property, and driving on a suspended license.
Prosecutors say that Works and an unknown accomplice robbed a man at gunpoint in July of 2013 in an effort to increase Works’ status in the HHMC gang.

“Experience from across the state demonstrates that aggressive and systemic use of the Georgia Street Gang Act is the most effective means to combat gang crime in any community. This indictment again demonstrates our commitment towards using those laws to dismantle the gangs themselves while holding individual gang members accountable,” said Deputy Chief ADA Michael Scott Carlson, who will prosecute the case.
Works is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
