UPDATE: Missing Smyrna Woman Found, Mattie's Call Cancelled

The 44-year-old was found safe early Tuesday morning.

UPDATE (3:30 a.m., Friday): Merideth Grembowicz has been found unharmed, according to the Georgia Association of Broadcasters’ AlertNet page.

ORIGINAL STORY (11:17 p.m., Thursday): Smyrna police are asking for the public’s help to locate a woman who went missing on Thursday afternoon.

Merideth Grembowicz, 44, was last seen in the parking lot of the Ridgeview Institute at 3995 South Cobb Drive at approximately 3:58 p.m., police spokesman Chris Graeff said. Grembowicz was allegedly threatening to commit suicide.

Grembowicz was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt, blue jeans, an olive color jacket and brown boots, and may have gone to any nearby Catholic churches to seek shelter.
