Smyrna RaceTrac Store Set For Spring Opening
In celebration of its rolling out of six new blends, RaceTrac is giving away free coffee this week.

RaceTrac held a ribbon cutting ceremony last Thursday with Mayor Tommy Allegood at its new store at the corner of Lake Acworth Drive and Cherokee Street/Glade Rd.
Leaders with the Cobb County-based company, headquartered at 3225 Cumberland Boulevard, say the new gas station will serve as the prototype for all new RaceTrac stations, calling the 6,000-square-foot new design the "RaceTrac of the future."
"Our new store design features many exciting updates including indoor and outdoor seating, 10 Swirl World frozen yogurt flavors with more than 40 toppings, a beer cave with 50 plus brands, and free wireless internet." said RaceTrac spokesperson Terrica Oglesby.

Oglesby said the RaceTrac currently under construction on the East-West Connector near South Cobb Drive should ready for business come spring. But RaceTrac officials and city of Smyrna officials are unsure when ground will be broken for the last summer.
And while the Smyrna community awaits that information, would like to treat you to a free cup of coffee this week. In celebration of its rolling out of six new blends, RaceTrac is giving away free coffee through Saturday.

Six new blends, made of 100 percent Arabica beans, are now available in stores throughout the company's seven markets. RaceTrac's new coffee lineup includes regular, dark roast, decaf, extra caffeinated, 100 percent Colombian and hazelnut.
"Our new blend, new cups and the new look of our in-store coffee areas are all the result of guest feedback," said Eric Williams, vice president of people, products and promotions for RaceTrac. "We spent months developing the medium-roast blends our guests said would make RaceTrac coffee a more enjoyable beverage experience. Everyone at RaceTrac, from the stores to the test kitchens, is excited about our new offering. And once guests try it, we think they'll be, too."
Fans of the new blends are encouraged to "Like" RaceTrac online at http://www.facebook.com/RaceTrac to learn how they can receive free coupons and coffee updates.
