Whitefield Academy students earn national recognition in Spanish
Mariana Hough wins 5th place in the state of Georgia on the 2017 National Spanish Exam.

¡¡Felicitaciones!! Congratulations to the following Whitefield Academy 8th grade Spanish students who attained national recognition for taking the 2017 National Spanish Examinations:
Anna Ayalew, Brooke Bergeron, Haley Burgess, Anna Cochran, Lilly David, Lindsey Fry, Scott Hellier, Mariana Hough, Isabelle Jordan, Lexi Kantor, Mayah Monthrope and Chase Watson. As a result of their participation and scores Whitefield Academy earned a total of one gold, four silver and two bronze medals along with five honorable mentions. Mariana Hough won special recognition and a gold medal for her score, placing 5th in the state on the exam.
The National Spanish Examinations are administered each year in grades 6 through 12, and are sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese.
