Smyrna Wine Stroll Beneficiaries Announced

Cobb County court appointed special advocates for children selected as recipient for Smyrna Wine Stroll proceeds.

Smyrna, GA — The Wine Cellars has announced Cobb County CASA as this year’s beneficiary for the 11th Annual Smyrna Wine Stroll. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates.

The Wine Cellars launched the Smyrna Wine Stroll in 2005 in an effort to give back to the local community and create a sense awareness for local charities who may have difficulties in finding resources for donations. 100% of the net proceeds from the event’s ticket sales are donated to local area organizations.

“We continually receive requests from a variety of organizations and it is difficult to say no, especially to requests from regular customers; however, for a small business, you simply cannot say yes to them all. So this is our one big bang way of giving back to our local community while shining a light on organizations that are close to home with limited resources right here in our back yard,” says Renee Rowe, owner of The Wine Cellars.
