Davida K. Anderson, 50, was driving a blue 1995 Pontiac Bonneville west down Pat Mell Road towards Favor Road at 10:21 p.m. when she allegedly hit a 35-year-old man who was trying to cross Pat Mell Road west to east. Instead of stopping to help the man, police say Anderson immediately fled the scene.

A witness was able to give police enough information to track down and arrest Anderson shortly after the wreck; Cobb County jail records indicate she was arrested just after midnight Saturday.
