Sterling Risk Advisors Promotes Mark Mason to Managing Director

Sterling Risk Advisors has promoted Mark Mason to Managing Director. Mason joined Sterling Risk Advisors in 2014 as an Account Executive. He serves in the construction practice, assisting clients with risk transfer and insurance needs. Sterling Risk Advisors is a full-service Atlanta-based risk management and insurance brokerage firm serving the commercial, professional and personal needs of clients across a diverse spectrum of industries. These include medical and other professional services, construction, transportation and logistics, manufacturing, real estate and technology.

Mason’s skills in risk management settings include:

• Creating guaranteed cost, loss sensitive and controlled insurance programs for clients
• Protecting clients by assisting with contractual risk transfer
• Offering solutions to complex coverage needs.

Before joining Sterling, Mason was a commercial insurance producer for Strawn & Co. He is a member of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) and is pursuing his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

Mason received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Mercer University’s Stetson School of Business and Economics. He entered the insurance industry upon graduation.

He lives in McDonough, Georgia, with his wife, Lauren, and their two daughters.
