TAYLOR ENGLISH DUMA ADDS ALISA CLEEK TO EMPLOYMENT AND LABOR RELATIONS PRACTICE

ATLANTA, Oct. 7, 2015 – Taylor English Duma LLP is pleased to announce that Alisa Cleek has joined the firm’s 28-member Employment and Labor Relations team. Cleek was previously an equity partner at Elarbee, Thompson, Sapp & Wilson LLP.

Cleek’s practice centers on defending employers in employment-related litigation and representing employers in traditional labor matters, including class and collective actions, restrictive covenants, discrimination, harassment and arbitration and collective bargaining. She also focuses on employer counseling, training and litigation prevention surrounding day-to-day employment decisions. She has worked with a variety of employers nationwide, including hospitality and service industry clientele (including major restaurant chains), staffing, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, sales organizations and retail operations.

Cleek is a past president for the Society of Human Resources Management (Atlanta Chapter), past chair of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Women in the Profession Committee and past secretary of the University of Georgia Terry College of Business Alumni Board. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 40 Under 40, Best Lawyers in America, Chambers Leading American Business Lawyer, Georgia Super Lawyers and its Top 50 Women Lawyers in Georgia, Georgia’s Top-Rated Lawyers, Outstanding Young Alumnus – University of Georgia Terry College of Business, Atlanta Woman Magazine’s Woman on the Way (WOW) Award and the National Fidelity Award for Most Outstanding Volunteer.
