TAYLOR ENGLISH PARTNER MICHELE STUMPE RECOGNIZED AMONG WOMEN WHO MEAN BUSINESS
Award recognizes women who have demonstrated leadership made impactful change and are characterized by their commitment to their community
Taylor English Duma announces that Michele L. Stumpe has been selected as one of 21 women to receive the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s annual Women Who Mean Business award, which honors the region’s most influential women in business from all professions. Honorees were recognized during a special ceremony on October 22 at the Loews Midtown Hotel and profiled in the October 23 edition of the Atlanta Business Chronicle. The award recognizes women who have demonstrated leadership and made impactful change. Winners are characterized by their commitment to their community and pioneering new paths in business.
Stumpe is a seasoned litigator who counsels clients in the hospitality and retail industries. She also focuses her practice on premises liability, business litigation and dram shop litigation as well as alcohol licensing and consulting. She represents many well-known Atlanta hospitality institutions and trade organizations, including the Georgia Restaurant Association (GRA), the Georgia Food Industry Association (GFIA) and the Georgia Association of Convenience Stores (GACS).
Stumpe also is a committed leader in several volunteer organizations, including The Giving Kitchen, which provides emergency assistance grants to more than 200,000 restaurant workers in Metro Atlanta. She also is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Children of Conservation, an organization dedicated to the conservation and protection of endangered species in third-world countries.

Stumpe received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and her law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
