Trio Involved in Drug-Related Killing in Smyrna Plead Guilty, Sentenced to Prison
All will serve between seven and 20 years in prison for the death of Jarvis McNabb.

Three men who pleaded guilty to killing a fourth man they were transporting drugs with have been sentenced for their roles in the incident, the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office announced Monday.
Jarvis McNabb was shot and killed in the parking lot of a Zaxby’s in Smyrna on Aug. 7, 2013. McNabb was in the company of Gershom Brown, Desmond Mosby, and Kemaine Rhaburn. All four of the men were involved with smuggling 9.5 pounds of marijuana to Alabama when the fatal argument began.
“Drugs and drug transactions are dangerous. When people make the choice to participate in the drug trade, death is often the result. These are serious crimes, as are the consequences,” said Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney Jesse Evans, who prosecuted the case, in a statement.
