Two NB, SB Lanes Closing Monday at I-285 and Atlanta Road

SMYRNA, GA — The Georgia DOT is closing two northbound and two southbound lanes beginning Monday night at I-285 at Atlanta Road.

The DOT says the lane closures will allow contractors to set beams and move cranes on the Atlanta Road bridge. Contractors will also pace traffic to perform the work. The traffic pace will require motorists to drive 5 mph -10 mph to allow contractors to work across the interstate lanes.

The lanes will be closed Monday night at 9 pm to 5 am Tuesday, and Thursday night from 9 pm to 5 am Friday morning.
