Post Service Officer, “Doc” Barber is starting a series of educational seminars to be held the 4th Saturday of each month at American Legion Post 160, 160 Legion Road, Smyrna GA.  Mark your calendars to learn how to get connected with the VA, how to get access to the VA, and other areas of interest to Veterans.  12:00 Noon - 2:00 PM.  Free and Open to the Public.

8/23, “Stake Your Claim” - understanding service connected disabilities and VA Health Benefits

9/27, “Aid and Attendance and Housebound” - financial assistance

If you missed the Veterans Seminar about Financial Assistance, “Aid & Attendance and Housebound”, for those who can no longer take care of themselves, it will be held again Saturday, 09/27/14 at 12:00 Noon.  Veterans and their spouses (aged 65 and over) may be eligible for financial assistance.  We recommend Veterans, their spouses, and their adult children come to this free seminar.
