Virtual Reality Comes to Cobb County

For one night only, join fellow Atlantans for a night of free games and virtual reality demos at Dave & Buster's in Marietta.

Virtual reality is making a boom in the technology industry, and Atlanta is right on track. With a variety of boutique tech companies diving into developing for this platform, the city is ready to compete with other technology hubs around the nation. ATLvr is setting out as one of the first companies in the Southeastern United States providing custom program development and interactive experiences in virtual reality. One of their main goals is to bring technology awareness to Atlanta by hosting a variety of awareness events around the city.

The next event takes place on Thursday, January 22nd at Dave & Buster’s Marietta from 6:00 - 10:00 PM. Each event brings together local developers, enthusiasts and individuals who want to try out and learn about virtual reality. All are welcome to experience an array of demonstrations from these local developers and enthusiasts who showcase the latest and greatest virtual reality technology available to the consumer market. This event will feature the Oculus Rift DK2, Samsung Gear VR, Leap Motion and more. The venue has provided free, unlimited, non-ticket games for all attendees that night.  For more details, check out the event page.
