Vote on the Ed-SPLOST Renewal
Important vote -- the SPLOST tax funds projects at Cobb County schools.

Cobb County has an important vote coming up on March 21st -- the Ed-SPLOST is up for renewal.
This is a 1% sales tax that funds capital projects at our public schools. We are currently paying the tax, and have been since 1998.
If the resolution passes, it will fund many projects in the Smyrna/Vinings area. These include a major addition at Campbell High, an additional middle school, and a rebuilt King Springs Elementary. Plus, all Cobb County schools will receive technology and security upgrades, as well as other improvements.

Strong schools make for strong property values, so this is an important issue for all area residents, not just those with young kids.
