Water Main Break Causing Delays on Cumberland Parkway

Traffic on Cumberland Parkway has been disrupted by a water main break in Vinings.

According to the office of Commissioner Bob Ott, one northbound lane of Cumberland Parkway has been closed between Paces Walk and Paces Ferry Road to allow crews to repair the damage. Ott’s office says to expect delays, as work will last into Thursday evening.
“Cobb County Department Of Transportation, state DOT and Cobb Water System crews are working as quickly as possible to restore water service to nearby customers and clear the road for traffic,” Ott’s office said in a statement.
