Website dedicated to railfanning relaunching The Cross-Tie

Website published the popular Cross-Tie as an e-zine from 2003 until 2007

Railfanning.org is relaunching The Cross-Tie as an e-newsletter, the website announced.

The website published the popular Cross-Tie as an e-zine from 2003 until 2007. After it was discontinued, much of the magazine’s content was published on the new Railfanning.org that launched in 2012.

During its initial run, The Cross-Tie featured a mix of news articles and content about the history of railroads. The e-zine regularly profiled railroad museums and cities from a railfanning perspective.

The first issue of the new incarnation of The Cross-Tie is expected to be distributed in August. Future issues will be distributed on a semi-regular basis as news and content dictates.

Railfanning.org launched in 2002 and publishes a range of content about railroads geared toward both novice and avid railfans.
