Whitefield Academy Hosts Sixth Annual Veterans Day Chapel

Retired Naval Officer and Executive Director of Campus Crusade for Christ Addresses Students and School Community on November 6

In commemoration of Veterans Day, Whitefield Academy will welcome veteran Captain Joseph Ludwikowski to speak at the school’s sixth annual Veteran’s Day Chapel on Nov. 6, 2015. Ludwikowski has toured throughout the Atlantic and Mediterranean as a part of his service, and participated in numerous operations against Soviet Naval Forces. In recognition of his exceptional service in the Navy, Ludwikowski is a recipient of various awards including the Legion of Merit and the Navy Achievement Medal. While also taking on a leadership role in a variety of non-profit organizations since his retirement, the ordained minister currently serves as executive director of Cru Military.

During the service, a wall of honor will be on display, which will feature information on veterans who are relatives of students and faculty members. Veterans from around the community are invited to join in the celebration.

Whitefield Academy invites surrounding communities to join them in honoring service member past and present. The event, beginning at 9:00 a.m., will take place at the Whitefield Academy Athletic Center.
