It's Easter time, and we have some great ideas for things to do.

If you're still trying to figure out how to celebrate with some eggs and bunnies, follow the list below. If you think you need a break from it all and need something to do that's not bunny-related, we've got some goodies for that, too.
1. Back East Band at

When/Where: Saturday, April 23, 9 p.m., Summits Wayside Tavern, 3334 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville.
Why Go: Looking to just relax this Saturday, crowded around your friends, with a beer in one hand and some live music playing in the background? Summits will have all of that this Saturday, with local number Back East Band taking the tavern's stage. From the country, southern and modern rock genres, Back East Band will play anything from Johnny Cash covers to their own original songs. The evening is also Fuller's ESB pint night at the tavern, so down a few glasses of the British ale for cheap, too.

2. Freaknik 2011 at Calabash Lounge
When/Where: Friday, April 22, 10 p.m.-6 a.m., Calabash Lounge, 5561 Memorial Drive, Stone Mountain.
Why Go: Freaknik 2011 may not be officially supported by the city of Atlanta this year, but private clubs and lounges are still keeping it alive. Calabash Lounge, close to the Atrium on Memorial Drive, is hosting their "Anythang But Clothes" Freaknik event with drink specials ($2 shots, $20 buckets of beer, $3 margaritas and more), a Ms. Freaknik dancing contest (where the winners get cash and prizes), DJs and more. As Rebecca Black would say, "Gotta get down on Friday!"
Pricing: General admission is $10 while VIP prices are $120 and up, but ladies are free until midnight. Visit their Eventbrite page for specific VIP information and for ordering tickets.
3. Live Healthy and Thrive Youth Foundation 5K Walk
When/Where: Saturday, April 23, 7:30 a.m., Stone Mountain Park, 1000 Robert E. Lee Drive, Stone Mountain.
Why Go: Walking for a good cause not only gets some decent exercise, but it makes you feel good about yourself, too. Aimed to be an annual event, the Live Healthy & Thrive Youth Foundation 5K Walk plans to gain community support to strengthen its message and goal: to improve kids' lives through academia, nutrition, fitness and one's overall well-being. Those who pre-register in advance get a complimentary T-shirt and Braves hat, which are limited if signing up the day of. Registration at the Studdard Picnic Area begins at 7:30 a.m., and the walk starts at 9 a.m. The walker in first place will receive a gift basket worth more than $300, and walkers are encouraged to have a picnic in the park afterward.
Pricing: A $10 donation is asked for all walkers participating in the event.
4. 67th Annual Easter Sunrise Service
When/Where: Sunday, April 24, 7 a.m., Stone Mountain Park, 1000 Robert E. Lee Drive, Stone Mountain.
Why Go: The search for a non-denominational Easter service has finally ended. At the top of the mountain on Easter Sunday, the Stone Mountain Ministerial Association will have two simultaneous services for a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere. The park, as well as the Summit Skyride, will open at 4 a.m.
Pricing: Free to attend, but $10 to park for the day (annual permits get in for free, of course), and, if wishing to ride up the mountain via the Skyride, prices range from $5.50 to $9. Church buses and vans can enter and park for free.
5. Chef Nancy Waldeck
When/Where: Saturday, April 23, 1 p.m.-3 p.m., The Little Shop of Arts and Antiques, 94 Main Street, Lilburn.
Why Go: As Americans, we're constantly struggling to eat healthy food that also tastes good, but for chef Nancy Waldeck, it comes easy. Her book "Taste and Savor: Delicious Healthy Recipes and Tasty Wine Tips" divulges in tips and tricks to keeping a healthy diet while eating tasty delights in over 100 recipes. Waldeck will be in Old Town Lilburn to discuss and sign books, and she'll also have orange oatmeal cookies and crudites with tomato basil dressing, all creations found inside her book. For those purchasing the novel at The Little Shop, a portion of the proceeds will benefit cancer wellness programs.
Pricing: Free to attend, but the novel is $18.95 if planning to purchase it.
