Began career over 25 years ago at a suburban Marriott hotel in Trumbull, Conn.Β  Worked at several hotels in Connecticut, Florida and New York before settling in Gwinnett County 22 years ago. After relocating to Gwinnett, I have worked at resorts, hotels and conference centers at Lake Lanier, Stone Mountain and midtown Atlanta. I live in Snellville.

Working in midtown during the Olympics at the headquarters hotel for NBC was a highlight. I was director of sales and marketing at the Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place from 2003 to 2007. I was very happy to β€œreturn home” to this hotel a month ago.

Projects/Goals: Our hotel will continue to work closely with the Gwinnett Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Gwinnett Place CID to make Gwinnett a top Georgia location for business and leisure travel, meetings, conventions and special events.

Hobbies/Leisure Activities: Travel and photography are both passions of mine.

Civic/Church Involvement: My wife Lisa is principal of Lawrenceville Elementary, and I try to be involved and help at her school whenever possible.

Family: Lisa, wife, and Matthew, son

Something hardly anyone knows about you: I love reggae music, and I’m happy to call myself a cancer survivor.
