'America's Supernanny' Casting in Georgia

Lifetime TV show is opening the door to families in the area.

Attention, Suwanee area families: The popular Lifetime TV show "America's Supernanny" is having a casting call for next season.

Representatives of the show will be coming to Georgia in late May/early June, and applications are being accepted now.

The show is looking for families that could benefit from the help of child/teen expert, according to a news release. Star Deborah Tillman has founded and currently runs three successful full-time day-care centers in Virginia, where she’s worked with children and teens for years.

She regularly presents workshops on childcare throughout the country, and she’s the author of "Stepping Out on Faith," a guide to operating a quality childcare center, the news release said.

Some of the challenges parents may be struggling with could include disrespectful behavior; "tween" and teen issues; mean girls or bullying boys; and blended families where both sides are seeking help, the release said. Tillman has an extraordinary ability to identify and tackle the toughest issues facing America’s families today.
