Suwanee Arts Community Mourns

The Suwanee arts community is mourning the death of one of its own.

According to a message from Vickie Johnson of the North Gwinnett Arts Association, Rosemary Benevides Williams of Sugar Hill died Monday, June 4.

She leaves behind her husband, Richard, her son, Ryan, and many friends who love and admire her wonderful spirit of caring, sharing and perseverance.  She will be missed so much, the message said.

"She was one of the anchors of our organization. She was always at open studio and all of her things are still there," Johnson said via email.

A celebration will be held Thursday at Anita's Artscool, 4264 Sudderth Rd., Suite B, Buford, GA 30518.
