Auditions for "A Year with Frog and Toad" (1st - 5th grade)
1st - 5th grade students can audition for Forefront Arts' production of "A Year with Frog and Toad" on Saturday, 8/30 or by video submission
Forefront Arts Children’s Theatre announces auditions for their fall production “A Year with Frog and Toad”.
Seeking boys and girls in 1st - 5th grade. Auditions and rehearsals will take place at Johns Creek Presbyterian Church, 10950 Bell Road, Johns Creek GA 30097. Auditions will be Saturday, August 30, 10:30am - 12:30 pm, or by video submission. Rehearsals will be Saturdays 10:30 am - 12:30 pm through the performances on December 5-6.
Auditions will consist of singing a prepared musical theatre song, readings from the script, and learning a short dance. Every child who auditions will receive a role in the show. Students must also enroll in a Forefront Arts theatre training course. Choose from Musical Theatre, Acting, and Actors Toolbox classes offered at 20+ locations around metro-Atlanta.

ABOUT THE SHOW...
A hit on Broadway, A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD was nominated for 3 Tony Awards – including Best Musical. Based on Arnold Lobel’s well-loved books and featuring a hummable score by Robert and Willie Reale, this whimsical show follows two great friends -- the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad -- and all of their animal friends through four, fun-filled seasons.
Waking from hibernation in the Spring, the animals plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding, and learn life lessons along the way. The two best friends celebrate and rejoice in their differences that make them unique and special. Part vaudeville, part make believe, all charm, A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD tells the story of a friendship that endures, weathering all seasons.
The jazzy, upbeat score of A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD bubbles with melody and wit, making it an inventive, exuberant, and enchanting musical for the whole family.
