Be a Hero: Run in the Suwanee Day Classic
Runners are asked to dress in super-hero costumes to honor those touched by childhood cancer.

Submitted by City of Suwanee
Runners in this year’s Suwanee Fest Classic are being encouraged to dress a little, well, differently. Because a portion of all race entry fees will go to Cure Childhood Cancer of Atlanta, runners are being asked to dress in superhero attire to honor those touched by childhood cancer.
This “racy” prelude to Suwanee Fest, Suwanee’s two-day community festival, is hosted by Georgia Fitness and takes place Saturday, September 13, at Town Center Park. The event includes a 1K fun run, 5K race, and 10K course. The 5K will begin at 7:30 a.m. with the 10K start slated for 8:30 a.m. The 1K fun run takes off at 8:35 a.m.
