Our dog has a new best friend

Frank and Ginger came over for lunch one day after church. Our mastiff, Shadrach, adores Ginger, but he hasn't gotten to know Frank that well.  

Until today. 

Here's how lunch went ... 

The hubs' plate had been picked up. But this newcomer's plate hadn't. Shadrach eyed it relentlessly. "Is there anything left for me?" 

Finally, Frank shared. 

And Shadrach is gettin' into this new guy. 

All I can say is it's a good thing Frank plays the guitar instead of a trumpet.
