Treasure Hunt at Coolray Field

There will be more than one type of diamond Sunday at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.

Following the Gwinnett Braves 2:05 p.m. game vs. Rochester, selected women will have the opportunity to dig for earrings in the Diamond Dig promotion.

Also, former Atlanta pitcher Jair Jurrjens (2-2) will continue his comeback when he starts for the G-Braves. Jurrjens has been hit hard in his last two outings, and has a 6.10 ERA.

Gwinnett leads the IL South by 2.5 games after Saturday's 4-2 victory over Rochester. Shortstop Greg Paimi had two hits and three RBI.

As usual Sunday, it also will be Family Day. There will be pregame catch in the outfield, and kids will be able to run the bases after the game.
