Debris Noted on Food Contact Surfaces at Suwanee Restaurant

The Peking Chinese restaurant in Suwanee recently underwent a routine health check by the Gwinnett Health Department.

And the result -- an "86/B" score for the eatery on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.

However, some violations were noted. Among them:

• Observed employee hankle (sic) ready to eat food (rice noodles) without a barrier. Person in charge discarded food. Advised PIC must have a barrier like a glove when using hands to handle RTE.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
• Observed food contact surfaces (ice machine, counter tops) with build up and debris. PIC cleaned items. Advised PIC all food contact surfaces must be clean to sight and touch.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
