Town Center Park will go “Under the Sea” during Suwanee Performing Arts' (SPA) annual summer performance and fundraiser, Broadway in Park (BIP), featuring Disney's The Little Mermaid JR. Filligan's Island, a one act take from Gilligan's Island, will begin the event at 7 pm.
More than 75 cast and crew will take area residents to a magical kingdom fathoms below, where the beautiful young mermaid Ariel (Erin Caruso) longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father King Triton (Jonathan McCravy), make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula (Rachel Wagner), and convince Prince Eric (Justin Hermosilla) that she’s the girl with the enchanting voice.
Adapted from Disney’s 2008 Broadway production, Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. features the hit songs "Part of Your World," "She’s in Love" and the Oscar-winning "Under the Sea." The performance is considered a JR show because it is a condensed version of the Broadway production released for amateur theater.

Admission to the shows is free but donations are accepted as this event is a fundraiser, and make either day a family day at the park.
