Instead of spending big money buying brand-new things this holiday season, think about "upcycling" -- turning things you already have into something new. The Gwinnett Environment and Heritage Center has workshops to help you create upcycled gifts this season. From 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Dec. 21 and 22, drop in and make something fun. The workshop is free with admission to the center.
