Falcons Player, Suwanee Business Team on Charity Event
Running back Turner will be at Gimme Some Suga in Town Center.

The Atlanta Falcons are preparing for another training camp, and one of their top players is preparing for a charity event at a Suwanee business.
Running back Michael Turner is teaming up with “Gimme Some
Suga” Bakery in Town Center, and he will be baking cupcakes with the proceeds going to charity on Tuesday, July 24. Turner has decided to donate the money raised to help raise awareness about Crohn’s disease.
“People close to me have been afflicted with Crohn’s disease, so I’ve
seen how it can adversely impact somebody’s life," Turner said. "That’s why I’m
looking forward to helping to raise awareness, and raise money for
continuing research to hopefully find a cure for this disease.”
The event is from 10 a.m.-noon and is open to the public.
