GCPS Invites Community to Participate in Review of Instructional Resources

GCPS staff and members of the Gwinnett community will review student textbooks and resources for Language Arts (K-12).

Submitted by GCPS

Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) invites parents and members of the community to join GCPS staff members by participating in a review of proposed curriculum resources. The public review, which began this week, will run until Friday, October 31, 2014.

GCPS holds an extensive review before adopting resources for classroom use. Resources submitted by publishers are reviewed by parents, community members, teachers, and administrators for alignment with the school system’s Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) curriculum. During the review, GCPS staff and members of the Gwinnett community will review student textbooks, digital resources, and associated teacher resources for Language Arts for all grades, K-12.
