Georgia Force Making Plans for 2012

The Georgia Force of the Arena Football League is coming off a playoff appearance, and it already is preparing for the 2012 season. The team released its schedule earlier this month.

Key dates for the Force include a playoff rematch against Cleveland in the home opener on Monday, March 12, and visits to The Arena at Gwinnett Center from each of last year’s ArenaBowl participants, Arizona (April 29) and Jacksonville (June 9), according to the news release.

“It’ll be an electric atmosphere all season long, starting with the opener [against Cleveland],” Force president Cory Howerton said in the news release. “Monday night is football night. To be able to open the season on a Monday night with a playoff rematch, it gives you chills just thinking about it.”
