GoFundMe: These Efforts Are Looking for Community's Help

Each week in December, Patch is focusing on fund-raising projects started by area residents on GoFundMe. 

On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, we are showcasing campaigns in our communities. Today, we provide a roundup of some of the campaigns featured Thursday on Patch sites in Gwinnett, DeKalb, Fulton, Walton, Barrow, Oconee and Clarke counties.

You can browse the GoFundMe campaigns above to find a person publicizing a personal need or a fund-raising campaign.

Unlike other crowdfunding websites like Kickstarter, GoFundMe focuses more on helping people fund community or personal goals. GoFundMe is a Patch partner.
