The Gwinnett Braves' free fall continued Sunday as host Syracuse took a 5-2 win. The G-Braves' ninth straight loss dropped them into third place in the IL South.
Pitcher Julio Lugo had a rough outing, working four innings, allowing 10 hits and four walks. Lugo walked in two runs in the first inning as Syracuse took a 3-1 lead.
Luis Durango and Josh Wilson each went 2-for-4 for Gwinnett.
