Gwinnett Braves Fan Fest Is Saturday

The Gwinnett Braves' season opener is not far off, and the team is ready to get fans warmed up with the annual Fan Fest on Saturday at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Activities will include National Anthem auditions, ballpark tours, and access to the G-Braves' batting cages, according to a news release. Activities and admission are free of charge.

A $1 concessions menu including hot dogs, popcorn, soft pretzels, nachos, soda and water will be available on the main concourse.  Discounted G-Braves merchandise will be on sale at the Team Store sidewalk sale.

The G-Braves open the season April 5. There will be a special exhibition game at Coolray Field on April 3 with the Atlanta Braves against a team of future stars, to be managed by former Braves manager Bobby Cox.
