The Gwinnett Braves' game Friday at Charlotte was suspended due to unplayable grounds, the G-Braves said in a media release.
The teams will complete the game beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday; then they will play the regular game, which will be a 7-inning affair.
However, Gwinnett now is a half-game behind Lehigh Valley in the wild-card race, with four games left to play in the regular season. Also, the G-Braves have been officially eliminated from contention for the division title.
