Gwinnett Braves Get Shutout Win

Team returns to Coolray Field on Friday.

Pitcher Randall Delgado improved to 2-0 since joining the Gwinnett Braves as the team took a 1-0 victory Thursday over Scranton-Wilkes Barre in Pennsylvania.

Delgado went seven innings, allowing three hits and striking out six batters. Brandon Hicks' 15th home run in the second inning was the game's only score.

Gwinnett, two games behind division-leading Durham, returns to Coolray Field on Friday (7:05 p.m.) to begin a weekend series. Julio Teheran (12-2) will pitch for Gwinnett. Also, Atlanta Braves catcher Brian McCann is expected to make a rehab start for the G-Braves.
