
The Gwinnett Braves hit the road Monday for an important series at Durham, N.C., against the Bulls. After Sunday's 14-8 victory at Coolray Field, the G-Braves are 3 1/2 games behind the Bulls in the IL South and 1 1/2 games behind the wild-card leaders.
The teams will play two games in Durham, and the Bulls have a "magic number" of seven to clinch the division title.
In Sunday's game, Gwinnett hit six homers and Norfolk had three, with the combined total being a Coolray Field record.

The G-Braves who homered were Brandon Hicks (a grand slam), Stefan Gartrell, Mauro Gomez, Wilkin Ramirez, Jeff Fiorentino and Wilkin Castillo. Gartrell now has 91 RBI, a team record.
