The Gwinnett Braves' offense went silent Tuesday in a 3-2 loss to Indianapolis at Coolray Field. As a result, the G-Braves fell into second place, a game behind Durham in the International League South.
Indianapolis scored the winning run in the 10th off Jairo Asencio after Gwinnett had tied the game in the ninth. G-Braves starting pitcher Todd Redmond allowed just two runs and struck out seven.
The G-Braves are off Wednesday and play Charlotte in Fort Mill, SC, Thursday (7:15 p.m.).
