Gwinnett Braves Win a Long One

Game begins in morning and ends four hours later.

The Gwinnett Braves game was unorthodox from the start Tuesday; after a 10:35 a.m. beginning, the team took 13 innings to beat Charlotte 7-6 at Coolray Field.

A fielder's choice RBI by Matt Young in the 13th proved to be the winner. The teams combined for six errors.

Wilkin Castillo had a three-run homer for Gwinnett. The G-Braves' bullpen was a bright spot, pitching 7 1/3 innings of scoreless, one-hit ball.
